Elalle has a humanoid body save for her digitigrade legs and wiry, coyote-like tail, as well as a feathering of fur on her elbows and hocks. This fur fades from black to grey to russet red, as does her short, spiky hair. Elalle's skin is relatively dark Caucasian, and her finger and toenails are more claw-like. Elalle's eyes are bright green with slit pupils, and her nose is slightly larger than average. Her ears are similar to an elf's, though they are also larger than average and sprout fuzz when not trimmed. She has a somewhat androgynous build with small breasts and relatively narrow hips. Elalle likes to wear dark colours as well as green eyeshadow when she can get her hands on them.

Elalle is an adventure junkie, as well as a hopeless romantic. She can easily convince herself that she's in love with a person, though these flings often end in heartbreak.
Being the eye of a hurricane that is composed of her two bonds for many years, Elalle has cultivated an iron will to keep her two opposed bonds in check. She's managed to keep them from disemboweling one another, although neither Byizmaeth nor Jhaazhijth are happy or comfortable around one another still. Elalle has discovered that keeping the two of them busy has been a good way to keep them from fuming and fussing, and now that they're a little more independent, she has had time to herself (on the very rare occasion!) to have a little head-space.
Elalle has a hard time settling down, and is more comfortable on the hunt than at home. Considering all of the heartbreak and bond-based conflict that occurs there, no wonder!

Byizmaeth is very much like Elalle, enjoying adventure and falling hopelessly in love at the drop of a hat. She is closer to Elalle than Jhaazhijth is, though not as when the three first bonded. Somewhat embittered by Jhaazhijth's relentless attempts to snipe Elalle away from her, Byizmaeth still snaps at the smaller dragoness when she gets too close, though the vitriol has since bled out of her. She has relented to allowing the blue into Elalle's presence, and will even allow Jhaaz' to carry the woman around (very occasionally), but Byizmaeth will take herself out of the picture if that is the case. She has become more independent over time.

Only after years of endless training has Jhaazhijth given up on usurping Byizmaeth's close bond with Elalle. She still tries to horn the black-green dragon out on a regular basis, though she mostly just wants Elalle's attention these days, rather than to fulfill some nefarious scheme. Capable of socialization outside of her bond, Jhaazhijth's friendship is a bittersweet sort, laced with many underhanded quips and impudent comments. Trying to get close to her bond her entire life has left her socializing skills lacking.
