Open-minded and certainly friendly, Duban has a quirky sense of humor to go along with his stately good looks. He's a rather large dragon but he certainly isn't menacing, nor really the meddling sort, for that matter. He loves people of all kinds, human or dragon, and loves best to hold long and thoughtful conversations with other intelligent folk. He is usually fairly quiet until he gets to know a person, but once he opens up, he gives them his all, and in the case of a few, this case holds true right across the board, especially in matters of love.

Miridath has been there and seen it all, and she's become only a little jaded by it. She's been accused of any number of things over her lifespan, from thief to witch to more mundane things like 'slut', 'cow', 'whore', and so on. She's been in a number of painful relationships--some due to others, and some that were all her sorry fault, but she thinks that she's finally settled down with Duban, and she's more then a little wary about things going downhill there, too. Duban has always been looking for an open-ended relationship, and while it works, in theory at least, Miridiath has never seen anyone but him, and he has yet to find someone interesting enough to add to his life outside of her. Miridath is always guarded towards those that she doesn't know well, and takes a long time to warm up to those that she deems worthy... but once she really gets to know them... look out! She's a very strong-willed and passionate dragoness, and her personality (sometimes overpowering) can otherwise sweep a person right off of their feet.
