Usule isn't that attractive of a man, given his domed forehead, wide-chested build, trimmed beard and thick moustache... however he has a clever glint to his blue eyes, and from behind his luxurious brown hair might give others a good first impression. Usule has pale skin, and likes to wear dark clothing with orange accents. He speaks with a slight accent that sounds almost Slavic.

Usule is a highly intelligent man, being a scribe in his younger years and a philosopher after that. He is witty, able to participate in most debates and conversation with a well-timed retort or analogy whenever it's needed. Because of this, those who aren't particularly shallow find him to be excellent company. He has refined tastes but is willing to chat with just about anybody.

Enito is always cleaning up after his bond, wanting everything to have its place and order. When Usule leaves stacks and unsorted piles of books and notes laying about, one can immediately tell when Enito has been by, because all ink stains will be cleaned, ink pots re-lidded and pen quills cleaned and lined in nice, even rows from shortest to tallest. All books and scrolls will be ordered alphabetically (fiction by author, non-fiction by some dewey decimal equivalent). Despite this odd need for complete order, Enito can be good company. When he is happy, he is quite happy to share and relate and chat and debate. When he's mad, however, he'll often storm off to some private place to sulk and write for hours. He makes a terrifying librarian.
