A shorter man with sandy blonde hair, Kavan has a ragged sort of look to him that borders between 'manly' and 'severely bachelor'. He's fairly athletic in build, with strong arms and wide shoulders. Kavan tends to wear shorts without a shirt whenever the weather permits, as he tends to be naturally warmer than others, or at least is better able to tolerate cooler temperatures.

Kavan is hard-pressed to be in his bond's company, which is unfortunately most of the time. The two are strikingly similar, the only difference with Kavan being that he rarely pays enough attention to notice others' strengths or shortcomings. He's brilliant, but he has a hard time sharing his thoughts with others because most people simply can't relate to him.

Xanoarth has a dark sense of humor that can stray into snide cynicism all too easily. He is not exactly a pessimist, but he is smart and he is highly aware of the shortcomings of his companions, meaning that he is of the opinion that if one wants to get something done right, one has to do it ones self. Xanoarth is not exactly a sociable dragon but he is a good team player when his ideas are heard and utilized. He does not make a good leader, but so long as a leader can tolerate his sarcastic quips and ill sense of humor, he makes a very keen second in command.
